The Sierra Summit Snowsports School is a proud member of the Professional Ski and Snowboard Instructors of America. Our mission is to give the highest quality service that we possibly can and excite every one of our guests about skiing and snowboarding. Whether you are just starting out or you just want to brush up on your skills, our Snowsports School has a package, program or lesson just for you.


Learn to Ski or Snowboard Two Day Guarantee - BEST VALUE !!

This is the best package by far for first time skiers or riders. With this two day package comes the Guarantee that we will have you skiing or riding on the upper mountain by end of the second day or we will give you lessons and a lift ticket for free until you can!* This program includes a beginner area ticket, equipment rental and two lessons (one AM, one PM) on the first day. On the second day, bring your first day’s ticket and get an all mountain lift ticket, equipment rental and two more lessons. Both days do not have to be consecutive. *Please note that if you do not ski/ride on the upper mountain by the end of Day #2, you will need to rent equipment for an additional cost of $20 for adult, $15 for youth, and $10 for children.

KID’S CAMP

All day Kid’s Camp is for 4-12 year olds. First time snowboarders should be a minimum of 7 years old. Kid’s Camp includes a lift ticket, equipment rental, lessons, complete supervision and lunch. All Day campers will receive two lessons, one am and one pm. Half day campers will receive one lesson. Early check-in is available on weekends and holidays. Reservations are not necessary for kid’s camp. If you already have equipment, take $10 off the package price. Kid’s Camp meets at the meeting area located in the middle of the base area and starts with a lesson. All campers should arrive at the meeting area with equipment 10 minutes prior to the lesson starting time.

Mini Boarder Package (ages 4-6)
This package is for the younger kids that can’t wait to get snowboarding. Includes a one hour lesson, equipment rental and lift ticket.

Mommy, Daddy and Me (ages 2-3)
This is a one hour lesson for the smaller kids that can’t wait to get skiing. This package includes the child’s lesson, equipment rental and a beginner area ticket. Mom and Dad are welcome for support and encouragement.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Reservations are not required for group lessons. If you like, you may call ahead for private lessons.
• Arrive early. Ticket windows open at 8:30 am, 8:00 am on peak weekends and holidays.
• First time ski and snowboard group lessons are available every hour. The first lesson is 9 am. Upper level group lessons are available at 10 am, 12 and 2 pm. Lessons meet at 10 minutes before the hour and start promptly on the hour.
• The duration of a group lesson depends on the number in the group.
• If you already have equipment, you can take $10 off the package price.
• You may take a second group lesson on the same day for only $20.
• A beginner area lift ticket may be upgraded to an all mountain lift ticket at half day (12:30).
• For children ages 4 to 6 years old, we recommend starting them out on skis for maximum success.
