Weddings

The Ceremony

Ceremony options are limited only by your imagination. Previous brides have chosen an intimate creekside setting on our footpath bridge with an archway over the rushing creek. For larger parties, the Inn patio sets the stage for an outdoor event beneath the shade of large pines.

There is a site fee of $500 for hosting your event at Sierra Summit. This fee includes the following wedding services:

  • Choice of ceremony location
  • Reception venue for four hours
  • Bar set up and bartender for four hours
  • On-site coordinator
  • Use of wedding archway
  • Cake table, reception sign-in and gift table
  • White table linens
  • Group lodging rates (includes a complimentary suite for the bride and groom)


The Reception

The Summit Dining Room offers intimate indoor seating with a rustic lodge charm. The dining room can accommodate up to 75 guests and includes the use of the adjacent Buckhorn Bar and outdoor patio for dancing and entertainment.

The Inn patio offers a scenic outdoor setting for up to 150 guests. Casual or formal seating is available with a picturesque backdrop of the Sierra National Forest. There is plenty of room for dancing and live entertainment and use of the adjacent Buckhorn Bar is included.

Mainstream Station can accommodate a larger group of up to 250 guests and host a sit-down or buffet banquet with a menu of your choosing. The possibilities are endless for creating the atmoshpere you desire for your memorable event.

Our staff can assist you with local contacts for a wedding cake, flowers, ceremony officiant and music or you are more than welcome to bring in your own. Decorating for your event can be done by your wedding party or arranged for with our staff and the following items can be provided for at an additional fee: optional linen colors, chair covers, canopies and tents, table rounds, arches and columns, balloons, candles, centerpieces and fountains. Catering

Choose from our house specialty menu items listed below or create your own custom menu. Our catering staff can assist you in putting together a spectacular event that won’t break your wedding budget. Table service or buffet style is available. For the weekend wedding getaway, we can also provide a rehearsal dinner and post-wedding breakfast for your departing guests.

The following entrees are served with choice of salad (mixed green, caesar, or spinach), rice pilaf or baked potato, fresh rolls, and choice of vegetable (California medley, green beans or squash medley). A 17% gratuity will be added to the following menu selections.

  • Certified Black Angus Top Sirloin (8 oz.) - $35.95 per person
  • Prime Rib - $28.95 per person
  • Lemon Garlic Chicken Breast (8 oz.) - $28.95 per person
  • Broiled Salmon with cream caper sauce - $28.95 per person
  • Tri Tip, marinated and slow roasted - $28.95 per person
  • Chicken Alfredo Fettucini - $24.95 per person

The following is a sample appetizer menu. Special orders are available upon request:

  • Spicy Chicken Wings - $2.50 per person
  • Summit Bruschetta - $2.00 per person
  • Caravan Sandwiches - $2.50 per person
  • Vegetable Tray with Dip - $1.50 per person
  • Fresh Fruit Tray - $2.50 per person
  • Cheese tray - $2.00 per person


Bar Services

Hosting your event at the Sierra Summit Inn includes a bartender and use of the Buckhorn Bar featuring a wide selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Bar options include a no-host (cash) bar or you may set a specific bar limit to satisfy your wedding budget. A variety of wines and champagnes are available with prices ranging from $175 to $225 per case. Kegs are also available for $150.00 (Budweiser) and $200.00 (Sierra Nevada). A corkage fee of $10.00 per bottle will apply to any wine and champagne brought in for your event.


Hotel Accommodations

The Inn offers a variety of unique rooms including our economy rooms with shared baths and our two room family suites. For your event, our Hotel Director will work closely with you to determine rooming assignments that best meet the needs of your guests. A complimentary suite for the Bride and Groom is included in your wedding package. Please note that a hotel minimum applies to all wedding parties.

Family suite, 3 bedroom/2 bath and kitchen $300 per night

The recreational opportunities are endless and our staff can assist you with planning activities for your weekend guests. Local activities include hiking, biking, sailing, fishing, water skiing, horseback riding, paintball, volleyball and much more.


Reservations

A deposit of $1000 and a signed catering agreement is required to reserve your date. Final payment is required at the conclusion of the event. Attendance must be confirmed at least seven days prior to the event and will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction. Deposits are non-refundable if the reservation is canceled within 90 days of the scheduled event. One half of all deposits received will be refunded if the reservation is canceled in writing at least 90 days prior to the scheduled event. All prices are subject to change and appropriate taxes will be applied.
