It’s official – six more weeks of winter!

Tuesday FEB 2nd was the 124th Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter!    That means more snow and a longer season and more time to ski and ride.  If you’re looking for ways to save this season then click here for ways to save $$$.

Phil is wrong about 60% of the time, worse than flipping a coin. But, I think he got this one right. With all the snow and another foot or two coming this weekend, according the more reliable National Weather Service, how late might you stay open this year? I’ve heard you’ve been open into May before. And last year was, what, about April 15?

Well, let’s hope Phil’s right this time. We are usually open into mid-April most years, but close typically due to lack of skiers and riders and not lack of snow. We did ski/ride the Memorial weekend in the 2004/2005 season. Let’s hope this season brings us as much snow!
