There’s no better way to spend the day than on the slopes as a family and Sierra Summit, voted Most Family Friendly by OnTheSnow.com, offers a variety of special services and money-saving options for families with children ages three and up.

Tickets
Our special family pricing on lift tickets includes a FREE lift ticket for all children 5 and under. And every Sunday throughout the season, middle school and high school students can purchase a $20 lift ticket with a valid picture school ID.

Kid’s Camp
Mom and Dad can get some skiing and riding in while the kid’s are having plenty of fun in our popular Kid’s Camp. This program is open to skiers and riders ages 4 through 12 and includes lessons, equipment rental, lunch and supervision.

Parent Exchange Ticket
Our Parent Exchange Ticket allows two parents to share a lift ticket while sharing the responsibility of watching the kids in the base area. This special ticket is available for only five dollars more than a regular or peak adult ticket. Please visit Guest Services for details.

Rentals
Our rental shop has a complete line of ski and snowboard equipment for everyone in the family. Our rental shop is conveniently located on the bottom level of the Day Lodge. Seasonal rentals allow you to check out the rental equipment for the entire season for one low price, saving you all those morning trips to the rental shop. Even more important, you can exchange the equipment in for larger sizes anytime throughout the season as the kids grow.

Lessons
Get them started as early as three with our Mini Skier Package, a one hour lesson for three year-olds that allows Mom and Dad to participate in the lesson. Also available for the little ones is our Mini Boarder Package for ages 4-5. Lodging

Family Fun Zones
Visit the Family Fun Zones where you can experience mini freestyle terrain including jumps, rollers and bank turns that are perfect for kids and beginners just learning to jump. For the older ones, visit our progression park, located in Ullmann’s Alley, with mini park features for those just starting out onto boxes and rails.

Dining
There are plenty of kid-friendly eating options from pizza and corn dogs in the Day Lodge to salads, sandwiches, and BBQ items at the Mainstream Station. Stop for drinks and snacks at our Midway Chill and Grill and end the day with a family dinner at the Summit Dining Room located at the Sierra Summit Inn (children’s menu available). Fresno Sport Shop / Information Center
Our Fresno Sport Shop can save you valuable time on the slopes by purchasing your lift tickets in advance and even renting snowboards. Stop by to get the most up-to-date weather and snow conditions and check out the bus trips offered most weekends and holidays. Our helpful staff has all the answers for you and will help you plan your day on the slopes. The shop is located at 6650 N. Blackstone Avenue, just south of Herndon Avenue.
